First Tranche Of Henderson Fund Mergers Complete

Henderson Global Investors has completed phase one of its previously-announced UK retail fund range rationalisation, a spokesperson has confirmed to WealthBriefing. In February, the firm said it had identified funds with an “overlap of investment objective and policy,” or, where it believed a change to a fund would be “in the best interests of investors”. Accordingly, the following mergers have now taken place: The Henderson European Value Fund has merged into the Henderson European Growth Fund, managed by Richard Pease and Simon Rowe; The Henderson US Opportunities Fund has merged into the Henderson US Growth Fund, managed by Tom Marsico, Coralie Witter and Doug Rao; The Henderson UK Strategic Capital Unit Trust has merged into the Henderson Global Strategic Capital Unit Trust, managed by Paul Craig; The Henderson Extra Monthly Income Bond Fund has merged into the Henderson Fixed Interest Monthly Income Fund, managed by John Pattullo and Jenna Barnard, and; The Henderson High Yield Monthly Income Fund has merged into the Henderson Fixed Interest Monthly Income Fund - also managed by John Pattullo and Jenna Barnard.
